Homeschool Hub – Our List of Free Educational Resources

Level 5 has been stressful for us all, particularly for parents who are trying to keep the kids engaged and educated whilst working from home. We have compiled a list of some of the best teaching and learning resources available.  Its jam packed with interesting activities, games, and eBooks for children of all ages and the good news is, they are all free and easily accessible online!


Primary and Secondary School Resources

Photomath Gives you both the answer and a breakdown, step by step, of how to approach any maths problem.

RTÉs Afterschool Hub Shares an interesting array of ideas, worksheets, and activities. Activities and programme can be accessed on the RTÉ Player is created by teachers and has a whole host of interesting stories, worksheets, and games. The Twinkle Go section has lots of FREE interactive resources.

The National Marine Aquarium will be delivering free live lessons from their Aquarium via YouTube! This is a free, online collection of easy-to-read and beautifully illustrated stories, comics, and poems for kids. You can even select stories by theme!

eBooks & School textbooks

Edco, CJ Fallon and Gill Education have some fantastic online education resources available including eBooks, podcasts, games and puzzles. Specialedteacherireland is an Instagram account run by managing director Angela O’Connor for primary school children and children with ASD and additional needs. There is even a handy visual timetable feature which helps parents schedule their home-schooling activities.
