Blue Monday, if you haven’t heard the term coined before, occurs on the third Monday of January, and this year it falls on the 16th of January.
It’s widely accepted that Blue Monday is the “most depressing” day of the year, and a mood dip can be expected. It’s easy to see why – it’s cold, it’s dark (and probably miserable), plus you’re back at work and all the festive fun of Christmas is suddenly a distant memory. Unless your one of the lucky ones, pay day is roughly a week away and it feels like a lifetime since your last!
